Rose joined PSYCHmatters in 2016 after completing her internship with us.  She also holds qualifications in Marketing and Teaching.  She enjoys working with all age groups and all life stages.  She has several years of experience treating clients with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

Rose presents annually for the Specific Learning Disabilities Association of New South Wales (SPELD NSW) on anxiety in children and adolescents.  She has also been invited to speak to other community groups on child and adolescent anxiety.

Rose believes success in therapy starts with a good trust relationship between therapist and client.  Rose's life experiences and empathetic ability enables her to build this relationship with her clients.

Rose's teaching background provides her with both experience and a unique perspective when treating issues in children and adolescents and providing recommendations for parents and teachers.  Rose is the National Supervising Psychologist for Australian Mensa.  She is very interested in the mental health issues and experiences of people with high IQs.

Rose has previously had careers in sales, wine marketing and teaching Commerce, History, Geography and Agriculture at James Ruse Agricultural High School.  Rose has four children (24, 21, 12 and 10), four chickens, two beagles and a husband.  She enjoys pottering in the garden with her chickens (though she admits to having a black thumb), reading science fiction, fantasy and history books, doing jigsaw puzzles, colouring and is teaching herself how to code to make an app for her iPad.
