Nesli practices a cognitive behavioural approach called Reality Therapy (Dr William Glasser, USA). She believes that a caring, empathic relationship lies at the heart of any kind of therapy and offers her clients offer insights into how making rational, effective choices can heal the mind and soul.  Nesli works from the premise that we contribute to our degree of happiness by how we think and act in our present day living.

Meaningful relationships are central to a good life. Our happiness and fulfilment depend on the quality of our relationships, that the choices we make determine the kind of relationships we have and will have. We can create satisfying relationships only if we take responsibility for ourselves to get what we want and not by trying to control/change others.

Nesli has worked extensively in the Western Sydney Area Health Service dealing with addictions and in particular adolescent and family issues. She has had more than 20 years experience in providing therapy/counselling using a holistic approach.

Nesli provides counselling/psychotherapy to assist people from all walks of life to deal with a range of issues and personal and life stressors. She also offers counselling for chronic pain. Nesli is qualified in the use of Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Reality Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dream Analysis, Hypnotherapy, EMDR.
