The "Getting Connected to Learning" Program

"Getting Connected to Learning" is an initiative of PsychMatters, Assessment and Therapy Centre in conjunction with the Master of Educational Psychology Program, University of Western Sydney. The program provides counselling and assessment for children, adolescents and their parents at a very affordable price. The program is currently used by schools that do not have access to psychologists. Testing, observations, counseling and consulting can be provided on school premises.

The program is staffed by fully qualified, graduate psychologists who need to undergo additional practical work to become fully registered psychologists. Supervisors are highly specialized and registered psychologists who are experienced in all areas of Educational Children and Adolescent psychology


 


Eligibility
School aged children, adolescents and teachers


Referrals

Adults can self refer or referral can be made by health professionals such as GP's, community services or health centers. Children and adolescents can be referred by parents, teachers, school nurse, psychologists or counsellors.
